A report that sits on a shelf is not done. A treatment that gets built, holds 99.97% of vehicles below 30 km/h, and produces zero crashes over a decade — that’s done. These are the projects that carry the story.

Ninth Street & Pine Avenue, Mildura (2013) — the first Low-Cost Implanted Compact Roundabout, built into an existing stop-sign crossroad in the heart of the CBD without moving kerbs or relocating services. Constructed over two consecutive nights. Benefit-cost ratio of 34:1. Zero fatal or serious injury crashes since 2013.

Eighth Street & Pine Avenue, Mildura (2017) — the second-generation LCICR, built in five days under live traffic while buses kept running through the worksite. 99.97% of vehicles enter below 30 km/h — the Safe System threshold for vulnerable road users — measured on a working CBD intersection, not modelled. Zero crashes of any kind since 2017.

All 79 Victorian councils — TAC LGA Safe System Lead (2018–19) — personally visited every one of Victoria’s 79 local government authorities. The resulting report directly informed the Safe Local Roads and Streets Program, now a $210 million Victorian Government and TAC investment offering up to $2 million to every council. No other consultant in Australia has that breadth of direct council engagement.

Port Noarlunga, City of Onkaparinga SA (2024) — concept design for a busy township precinct: a Safe System environment delivered alongside more parking, tree canopy and open space. Received favourably by ward-elected members and now guiding further planning for the township.

Bayview Street, Williamstown — Hobsons Bay City Council (2023) — school precinct road safety design and cost estimate, structured for transparency and budget alignment.

Ballan Integrated Transport Strategy — Moorabool Shire (2026) — the township’s first Integrated Transport Strategy, adopted by council.

The design behind the roundabouts has since been requested or referenced by VicRoads, WALGA, Main Roads, CASR, RAA, NZTA and the Victorian Local Government Road Safety Network, and featured in the TAC Local Government Grants program.
